UBa Tech Camp recently held its final mini project session as part of the ongoing training program.

Students from different tracks including Data Analysis and Research, Networking, and Linux presented projects developed from the skills they have been building throughout the program. Each presentation reflected the effort put into understanding concepts, applying technical tools, and developing practical solutions.

This session marked the last mini project presentation before students take a break to prepare for the resumption of the next academic semester.

While the mini project phase has come to an end, students will still be working on their final projects. These projects will be developed and submitted as part of the final stage of the training before the distribution of certificates.

The progress, dedication, and growth demonstrated throughout these sessions continue to reflect the core goal of UBa Tech Camp, building practical skills, technical confidence, and real problem solving ability.

Another productive day at Uba Tech Camp.

As usual, students continued with their various training sessions across different courses, strengthening their skills in areas such as Data Analytics, Web Development, MS Office, and other technical modules. The focus remains on practical learning, problem solving, and building real competencies that students can apply beyond the classroom.

During the course of the day, we also had a brief but impactful moment when Meyanui Petra, a Master’s student from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Bamenda, joined the program to speak with participants about mental health.

The session touched on the importance of mental well-being, managing stress, and maintaining a healthy balance while pursuing academic and professional goals.

It was a thoughtful reminder that while building technical skills is important, taking care of our mental health is equally essential.

Moments like these continue to make the learning environment at Uba Tech Camp not only technical, but supportive and holistic.

Building Future Professionals
Today marked an exciting and inspiring moment at UBA Tech as our students showcased their knowledge, creativity, and technical skills during our Presentation Day.
This activity is a key part of our training because it helps students develop essential career skills such as public speaking, confidence, teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to explain technical ideas clearly. These are the same skills required in the modern technology industry.
Each student had the opportunity to present what they have learned, demonstrate practical projects, and share innovative ideas with their peers and instructors. It was amazing to see the passion, dedication, and progress our students have made throughout their training.
Presentation Day is more than just speaking in front of an audience it prepares our students for real world professional environments, where communicating ideas and presenting solutions is just as important as technical knowledge.

Since mid-February, UBaTech Camp has been delivering an intensive, hands-on technical training program designed to build practical, job-ready skills.

The curriculum spans essential digital and tech competencies, including MS Office mastery for professional productivity, Data Analysis and Data Analytics for structured decision-making, Web Development for building functional and responsive platforms, and more. Each course is taught with a strong practical focus, participants don’t just watch, they execute.

From advanced Excel functions and data cleaning techniques to analytical thinking frameworks, from structuring datasets to building and testing web interfaces, every session is built around real tasks and applied learning. The emphasis is on understanding how tools work, when to use them, and how to deliver measurable results.

The training is still ongoing, and the momentum remains strong. Engagement is high, progress is visible, and skills are sharpening week by week.
