Speaking to over 200 Young Vibrant Change Makers, I could attest that were growing as Youths!

As a Youth Senator who is Deeply Passionate about youth engagement in Leadership and Politics, I shared practical insights on how we could step out of the web of Low self-esteem and build boldly in Politics.

Politics isn't something for the Old!

Youths should eagerly and readily be involved in Politics!

Youths Should be involved in decision-making Spaces that involves their wellbeing!

My highlights during this Panel were;

See beyond your Current State.

Learn to Envision Yourself above where you are at the moment but See yourself in the lenses of who you're becoming.

I'm a Youth Senator but I know there is More!

You can be just a student today but know there is more.

Put in the Work,

Master the principles,

Build the Right Systems.

We're not There yet but we're trusting the Process!

We will get there!

As 2025 comes to a close, I'm reflecting on the incredible people and experiences that made this year truly special 🙏.

As someone passionate about youth empowerment and politics, I've come across some common myths that need to be debunked.

Let's set the record straight👇🏽

🚫 Myth: Young people are too immature for politics.

✔️ Reality: Youth bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table.

Their involvement is crucial for shaping policies that address contemporary challenges.

🚫 Myth: Young people are apathetic about politics.

✔️ Reality: Many young people are actively engaged, but often face structural barriers, such as limited access to resources and opportunities.

🚫 Myth: Politics is only for the experienced and well-connected.

✔️ Reality: Politics is for anyone passionate about creating change. Your unique experiences and skills are valuable assets in shaping your community and country.

🚫Myth: Youth are only interested in social media activism.
