The rehabilitation of the main bridge in Widikum, connecting Abegum and Diche, is long overdue. Years of neglect have taken a toll on the infrastructure, likely causing safety concerns and disrupting the local community. A thorough rehabilitation project could be seen as the possible option.

Thank to the efforts of the Widikum council.

Ambelle Development Diary Initiative ADDI.

The divide and rule system has never created any impact or solve the problems of every community.

In Ambelle, communities like Olorunti and Anjake should be given the dignity they deserve, Olorunti in particular stand the chance of being one of the best in terms of developmental infrastructures and community Development leadership follow by Anjake. These communities for years stood the chance of being what they are today.

Yes their opinions might differs and others will see them as being superior or disagreeing with others, Do you know for more than 20 years many villages in Ambelle have been clamoring and advocating/contributing levies just to put one structure or the other and yet it end up dying a natural death?. These communities lack total commitments and steadfastness in their approaches either in resource allocation or projects priorities. Most of these communities are unable to give a clear accounts of what has been contributed or used so as to give a clear cut between the donors and their leadership, this is one of the many reasons why they hardly see themselves as being the problem of their problems.

To me, others communities must engage in factual Developmental projects and make them real by executing or putting in place actions with words. Mentioning names might sound so embarrassing but the truth is, they've been turning around with no meaningful impact to be seen.

Olorunti and Anjake in Ambelle clan should be given the attention they deserve and others can simply learn from them.

Ambelle Development Diary Initiative ADDI.

Rural communities often face unique challenges, such as limited access to healthcare, education, and job opportunities. Infrastructure like roads, internet, and transportation can be underdeveloped, making it hard for residents to connect with urban areas or access essential services. Economic opportunities might be scarce, leading to brain drain as younger folks move to cities for better prospects. How do you think these issues can be addressed, or what's your experience with rural communities?

This is exactly what has been the topic of every community development association. AwiCUDA has been silence and now is their time to speak. Although some individual projects at the level of the community has been clearly seen but key developmental aspects reamina call for concern.

We'll be expecting some key projects like the laying of foundation stone for the giant Awi community Development Hall and many more.

Congratulations 👏🎉👏 to key leaders like Pa Tambo, young leader Takie Eric and a host of others.

BISHOP VISIT TO WIDIKUM-MENKA PARISHES.

The most high recognized Catholic Bishop of the Bamenda Arsh Diocese is presently in Widikum subdivision as he visited Manka quasi Parish in Larinji Menka Clan.

Today he's presently officiating another solemn mass at Saint Mathias Parish Widikum covering other mission stations like Ambelle zone, Bussam, Lower Tiben and Widikum main parish.

As it's a culture, the bishop most always pay visit to some key parishes of his ecleclastic Provence. It will go in history that he visited Widikum subdivision without Ambelle in his program of activities.

We are currently monitoring the event.
