OFFERS HELP TO MALNURISHED CHILDREN IN SISIA QUARTER BAMENDA.
On the 11/01/2025 in Sisia 3 Nkwen, within Bamenda 3 municipality. A 24-year-old woman was found with three Malnourished children. She was displaced from her original place of stay in Mamfe because of the crisis rocking the North West and South West Region of Cameroon.
HELP FOR THE HELPLLESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION (HHCA) was informed about this situation by some of the workers reciting within the neighborhood. HHCA on their part intervened promptly and rescued the situation.
On January 11, 2025, HHCA conducted consultations for the critically ill and malnourished children in need of immediate medical attention at Mbingo Baptist Hospital in Nkwen. The purpose of these consultations was to improve the children's overall health. The ages of the children assessed were 9 years, 2 years, and 8 months. The primary underlying cause of their poor health was identified as a lack of food, particularly the absence of a balanced diet. The total medical expenses incurred for the children amounted to 64,000 Francs, fully covered by the founder of HHCA.
Additionally, on January 12, 2025, a delivery of food items was made to the home of a young mother, providing essential support for her and her children. The supplies included milk, Ovaltine, sugar, eggs, 25 kg bag of rice, palm oil, groundnut oil, meat, fish, and tomatoes. These provisions were intended to complement their medical treatment.
HHCA has assigned a dedicated team to monitor the health and well-being of the children after every three days. It has been decided that regular food supplies will be provided to ensure the children remain healthy.
Attached to this document are pictures and videos that convey appreciation for the entire process undertaken by HHCA.
