🎓 CABEP-GEP Update: Closing Ceremony and Certification! 🎓
Yesterday, Saturday 5th September, we brought the GEP Teacher Capacity Building program Cohort 1 to a joyful close at the CABEP Office in Bamenda!
What an incredible week it has been! From Day 1 to the very last session, our dedicated primary school teachers showed up with enthusiasm, resilience, and a burning desire to shape the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Closing Ceremony Highlights:
✅ Presentation of certificates to all participating teachers
✅ Heartfelt testimonies from educators on how the training has transformed their outlook
✅ Networking and fellowship among teachers, trainers, and the CABEP team
✅ Renewed commitment to take the GEP Methodology back to their classrooms
These certificates are badges of honor and distinction. They represent countless hours of learning, unlearning, and relearning. They represent a promise to our children: that their teachers are equipped to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

🚀 Day 2; GEP Teacher Training Cohort 1! 🚀

The energy in the training hall was still buzzing as we dived into Day 2 of the GEP Teacher Capacity Building program!

Today, our amazing primary school teachers moved from theory to practice; and the transformation is real. What started as curiosity yesterday is now becoming confidence.

Day 2 Highlights:
✅ Hands-on facilitation on "Entrepreneurship and the Business Plan" teachers becoming students again!
✅ Brainstorming practical ways to integrate entrepreneurship into everyday lessons
✅ Teachers collaborating, sharing ideas, and building networks
✅ Real talk on overcoming challenges in the classroom with an entrepreneurial mindset

The highlight? Watching educators light up as they realized they already have what it takes to inspire young innovators; they just needed the right framework. And GEP is delivering exactly that.

Every session is a step closer to classrooms where children will learn to solve problems, think critically, and dream big.

We are only halfway through, but the impact is already palpable.

To our teachers: Keep showing up, keep asking questions, and keep believing. You are shaping the next generation of changemakers.

CABEP-GEP PROGRAM UPDATE:

🎉 Day 1 – of Cohort 1! 🎉

The Gateway Entrepreneurship Project (GEP) Teacher Capacity Building program training of 1st Cohort kicked off yesterday in Bamenda, and the energy was ELECTRIC! ⚡

Some passionate primary school teachers from across the region, all ready to transform how entrepreneurship is taught in our classrooms were present. From mindset shifts to hands-on activities, Day 1 set the tone for an incredible week ahead.

Highlights from yesterday:
✅ Deep dive into Entrepreneurship
✅ Interactive sessions on fostering creativity in young learners
✅ Teachers already brainstorming how to bring entrepreneurial thinking into their daily lessons
✅ A room full of educators committed to shaping problem-solvers, not just test-takers

These teachers are getting shaped to become catalysts for change. When you empower a teacher, you empower a generation.

The journey has just begun. Days 2–5 will bring even more practical tools, including "The Business Game" and preparation for the Mini & Grand Market Day Events.

We had a fantastic turnout at today’s Project Briefing Seminar in Bamenda! 🏫✨

It was a privilege to gather private primary school owners and Head Teachers to officially introduce the Gateway Entrepreneurship Project (GEP) by the Cameroon Association of Business and Economy Promoters (CABEP).

This initiative is designed to empower our schools with innovative entrepreneurial tools to foster sustainable growth and 21st-century learning. The energy, engagement, and commitment from our educators were truly inspiring.

It was an inspiring session as we brought together key stakeholders to align with the GEP vision, share insights, and strategize on avenues to ensure the GEP benefits every child in Cameroon.
