Driving Civil Society Impact Through Evaluation

Growth truly happens in reflection. Following the CSO Impact Conference on March 5th–6th, 2026, GRACARO joined fellow civil society actors on March 12th at CEMASUD, Bamenda, for a meaningful evaluation session. It was an opportunity to assess our progress, identify gaps, and openly discuss what needs to improve in order to strengthen our impact within the community.

One key lesson that stood out is that remains critical solutions must be rooted in the realities of the communities we serve. Equally important is the shift from to , as demonstrated by the , which encourages organizations to work together, share opportunities, and better respond to community needs. Strengthening , including and being , also emerged as essential for building trust with partners and donors.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the upcoming outreach in May 2026 and the next major gathering in March 2027. The journey continues, and our commitment remains clear to keep building stronger, more impactful, and more collaborative action in and beyond.

GRACARO Celebrates New Life and Community with the Mendankwe Royal Family

On March 21st, 2026, members of the GRACARO team paid a courtesy visit to the Fon of Mendankwe Palace to share in a joyful and memorable moment with the royal family. We had the honor of congratulating the Queen on the birth of her beautiful baby, Nforchesiri Eliam Acheunfor a truly special occasion filled with pride and happiness.

It was a privilege to meet the Fon and his wife, and to witness firsthand the joy this new addition has brought to the family. The warm reception and peaceful atmosphere at the palace made the visit even more meaningful, reflecting the strong cultural values of unity, respect, and community.

Our humble gifts were graciously received, symbolizing our continued commitment to community engagement and meaningful relationships. As we celebrate with the royal family, we wish the newborn a life filled with good health, wisdom, and greatness.
