SATEC is a community based organization in Big Babanki North West region of Cameroon dealing with the issue of sustainable development. Their work in this field includes a wide range of activities from the conservation and regeneration of unique misty forest, watercatchment, efficient agriculture, the introduction of alternative income generating activities and the support of local schools in orde

r to raise the new generation ecologically consicious. Our aim is to prevent futher degradatation of the forest and help to find model of coexistence between people and the nature. Organizace SATEC působí v Kamerunu oblasti Big Babanki North West region jako projekt zabývající se otázkou trvale udržitelného rozvoje. Práce na tomto poli zahrnuje celou škálu aktivit od snahy o zachování a obnovu jedinečného mlžného pralesa, přes zefektivnění práce místních zemědělců, záchranu vodních zdrojů až po podporu vzdělávání místní mladé generace v oblasti ekologie. Cílem je zabránit další devastaci lesa a pomoci najít model soužití lidí a přírody.
