Successful Hosting of the 4th Edition of Student Discord at the University of Bamenda
This event brought together students from diverse backgrounds providing a platform for discussion, networking, and idea-sharing.
The Student Discord featured thought-provoking talks and engaging group discussions. Key topics addressed during the event included hate speech on campus. In the pass years, hate speech has been a major concern on campus especially duringing the matriculation day. To promote inclusion and create a safe space forr Learning, we had to address this issue from its roots.
Students also discussed on the power of Resilence and Networking. This was a unique opportunity for networking as students introduced themselves and what they do and hence connected with others who share the same values and skills.
Through this event, we aim to give back to the community by fostering a sense of inclusivity and social cohesion among students of the university of Bamenda.
