CADSA Upholds ACADSUBA to Foster Growth in the Department of CADS.
The Ex-Students of Communication and Development Studies, CADSA, (Alumni ) in their desire to ensure that they partner with the Department of Communication and Development Studies of the University of Bamenda to mold young development communicators professionally, have
at the just-ended General Assembly organized under the leadership of the ACASUBA President Edwin Ajimsimbom financially supported their project which is meant to construct a Press Room for students to sharpen their skills.
This year's General Assembly was organized under the theme "Connecting Minds, Shaping Perspectives, Exploring the
power of communication and development studies".
Held at the University of Bamenda (amphi 340),
this year's edition brought together over 500 CADS students, lecturers, and other Stakeholders.
This 2nd edition also had as its objectives, to encourage CADS students who are currently studying to be intentional in what they are doing, and create awareness of the many career options and opportunities the department offers and equally raise funds for the construction of CADS Pressroom on campus where students can have access to breaking news and relevant information via the various media outlets to promote sustainable development.
&Studies
