The Bansang Swiss Project hopes you all had a great festive season and wishes you a Happy, Prosperous New Year 2026 full of Good Health and Peace.

We look back on 2025 and see as highlights the admirable achievements in becoming an Optometrist by Tata S Jobe and by Assan Azu Sanneh , Esq., becoming Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of The Gambia, shining the light of Gambian Excellence far and wide. To the many other individuals striving to be their best everyday, we wish you all the best in this New Year.

This year 2024 has been an exceptionally great year for the people of Bansang.

Our visit and distribution of the donated 120 Tables, 240 Chairs and educational materials (including computers) worth D960,000 to our six partner schools in the Bansang region allowed us to continue our mission of prioritising the wellbeing of Gambian students.

Thanks to the great work of The Bansang Swiss Project team, the invaluable support of our medical advisor and donor of eye lenses Dr. Christopher Da Costa, Mr. John Mahagan for securing a huge donation of Ophthalmological equipment by putting us in touch with Dr. Salvas (donor of the latest huge amount of Ophthalmological equipment) and Mr. Albert Valantine for coordinating the pickup and shipment of the materials. This huge donation of Ophthalmological equipment made it possible for our Outreach team lead by Tata S Jobe and the Bansang Hospital Eye Care Screening team to successfully carry out this well coordinated outreach programme in the schools, thanks to our The Bansang Swiss Project Coordinator Mr. Yahya Faal.
All those mentioned above, as well as the coordination of the Honourable Health Minister Dr. Samateh were instrumental in the successfully carried out Free Eye Care Screening process in 5 of the 6 schools (including all the students, teachers and elders in the communities) in the Bansang Region we support.

On behalf of The Bansang Swiss Project, I would like to thank everyone immensely, especially the Head Teachers and School Co-ordinators and wish you all the very best in the coming of this year 2025.
We look forward to your continued support throughout this New Year.

Thank You.
Caroline Ambrosi de Magistris Verzier
