The second pillar of Insight Cambodia’s initiative was to strengthen our ties with our current partner Feeding Dreams Cambodia and explore new horizons. That allowed us to and our audience about the problems had been facing and how each of us could contribute to alleviating the disruptive effect of -19 in the community of Siem Reap 🇰🇭.

What steps did we follow to achieve our aims?

✅ Consolidated our relationship with FDC through and %support

✅ Established a successful with SMP Strategy Consulting

✅Collaborated with SIMcubator, SIMocean, and Oikos St. Gallen for our joint Challenge

✅ Actively participated in a SIMagination-wide on strengthening the image of the programme and its exposure to corporate sponsors

✅ Successfully executed several social media and fundraising

✅ Additionally increased our reach through innovative concepts and formats of fundraising

✅ Translated a children’s book in collaboration with FDC

What were the results?

✅ We ameliorated the overall reach of our project, and our engagement rates across several online platforms (i.e., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, own website) were much higher than the averages for the respective channels.

✅ We not only managed to our audience about the main challenges we were tackling – , , in Siem Reap 🇰🇭, and the importance of , but we also increased the impact of our efforts through joint efforts with our partners.

✅ Our work translated into a very successful fundraising campaign that allowed us to raise additional funds which were directly donated to our partner Feeding Dreams Cambodia.

Only one week left until the new team takes over the Insight Cambodia project! In light of that, over the next days, we will present to you the final of this year's and the legacy the Insight Cambodia team will leave behind.

During the last year, the first point on Insight Cambodia’s agenda was to provide sufficient to Feeding Dreams Cambodia(FDC).

We are proud to announce that, together, we raised over 15,000 CHF. The aim of those additional funds was to contribute to the NGO’s efforts to combat the negative effects of the -19 pandemic on their own operations and on the recovery of the community on Siem Reap 🇰🇭.

How did we achieve this?

✅ Our fundraising programme, including bake sales, the novel for the SIMagination Challenge online events – Cambodian Cooking Class and Beer Yoga Class, and an ongoing fundraising campaign allowed us to raise over 5,000 CHF.

✅ After securing a special partnership with them, SMP Strategy Consulting dedicated their “Running Transformation” initiative to Insight Cambodia and FDC’s cause. The 5,000 EUR raised were directly donated to FDC.

✅ As a result of our work on the development of a comprehensive community-oriented programme for Feeding Dreams Cambodia (FDC), we secured additional FöKo funding of 5,000 CHF, which will be donated to FDC upon roll-out of the project.

Did we accomplish our goal? Yes, we did!

We are beyond excited about this since the money raised has already been productively utilised, allowing FDC to continue its Education and School Meal Programme, thus helping more than 800 students and their families receive quality education and weekly food deliveries.
