Hannah Weinberger, from being the first Cristina Spoerri Prize recipient in 2013 to co-founding one of the most dynamic art platforms of today.
Through Basel Social Club, Hannah Weinberger continues to shape the contemporary art landscape. From June 14–20, 2026, its fifth edition transforms a vacant office building near Basel SBB into a vibrant space for art, performance, music, gastronomy, and exchange.
This year’s edition explores the changing nature of work in an age of digitalization, artificial intelligence, and shifting notions of productivity and rest. The building itself becomes part of the curatorial vision—a place for reflection, encounter, and new perspectives.
As Hannah Weinberger puts it:
“Art is a holistic concept and should be experienced as such.”
