Ms Pamela Gonzalez, M.P.A., M.A.

Pamela holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and a Master of Public Administration. After relocating to Switzerland from California in 2018, she completed her CELTA and brought her background in special education into English Language Teaching, integrating evidence-based and inclusive teaching practices into her work with learners of all ages.

A dedicated ETAS volunteer for the past five years and Vice President for the last two, Pamela has played a key role in the ETAS Journal, monthly newsletter, and the Association’s communications. She looks forward to leading ETAS as it continues to support and connect English language teachers across Switzerland.

Meet our new Vice-President:

Ms Dina Blanco-Ioannou, M.Ed.

Dina, with over 27 years teaching experience and a long-standing ETAS member and volunteer, is from London. Holding and M.Ed. in English Language Teaching from the University of Manchester, her teaching experience spans a wide range of contexts, from teaching adults (general, business and Cambridge exam courses) to young learners and teenagers. She is currently a teacher educator at the PH FHNW, Institute for Secondary Education. With her diverse cultural background and commitment to lifelong learning, Dina is always learning and growing, nurturing full-dimensional learning environments dedicated to teaching the whole-person.

Lorence Demian Marienthal
