🇬🇧 Your best goal at the club?
The last minute goal against Lugano in the 2023-2024 semi final of the cup! It was the winning goal and it meant the first medal for Geneva in over ten years.
🇬🇧 The best win?
Again that game against Lugano. It was the beginning of a new era, a fresh start. GN started gaining credibility and the respect we deserve.
🇬🇧 Who are the players that progressed the most since your arrival?
Mathieu Pittet has grown a lot on the left side next to Krešo. He started to take responsibility offensively and he's become an authority defensively.
Damien Montoya has also progressed in the way he assimilates the information that was given to him and he executes it really well.
Ulysse is a young player that works hard. He has a lot of potential and I like his work ethic. He doesn't play that much for now but in time he will get his opportunity and I am sure he will take it!
The rest of the team have also progressed a lot.
🇬🇧 Which are the objectives you've accomplished and the ones you haven't?
I'm really happy that we have changed the image of the club. We have become a respected club like we deserve to be and how it should be. Some good foundations have been built for the future. My biggest regret is not having won the championship. It's what I wanted the most. In any case I know the team and the club have everything it takes to win it!
🇬🇧 A last message for the team?
Believe in yourselves and your capabilities. Keep the team spirit you have, it's always been the identity of the club and that is the key for all our objectives. To our fans : it has always been easier and more enjoyable with you by our side. Your support means the world to us.
See you all at Varembé!
