⭐ The Special Projects Department of the International Institute of Humanitarian Law and .official are pleased to remind you that registration for the 2nd Course on International Humanitarian Law and Children in Armed Conflict is still open.

🌍 Through an engaging and practice-oriented programme, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the international legal framework protecting children affected by armed conflict. The course explores key legal standards, prevention strategies, monitoring and reporting mechanisms for grave violations, and the role of accountability in ensuring justice and combating impunity.

Meet Innocent, an advocate leader from Malawi and one of the 16 participants in the latest version of the Training of Trainers for Refugee Advocates, delivered through the partnership between R-SEAT and the Sanremo Institute.

The training equipped refugee leaders and advocates with practical skills in instructional design, facilitation techniques, experiential learning, and training delivery, empowering them to contribute as experts, lecturers, and partners in future learning initiatives.

At Refugees Seat and the International Institute of Humanitarian Law we believe that people with lived experience of displacement should be at the center of the decisions that shape their lives. Advancing their capacity to lead, teach, and influence is an essential step toward more inclusive and effective protection responses.
