Nous sommes reconnaissants envers tous les généreux donateurs qui ont rendu possible le transfert de ce précieux bébé de Kindu à Goma prise en charge par Dr Kizito de Cophegs DRC en attendant un vol pour Lubumbashi.

Aujourd'hui, nous célébrons son arrivée en toute sécurité à Goma.

Et maintenant, nous attendons avec impatience le prochain vol disponible vers Lubumbashi pour continuer son voyage vers sa nouvelle maison et son refuge.

We are grateful to all the generous donors who made it possible for this precious baby to be transferred from Kindu to Goma cared for by Dr Kizito from Cophegs DRC while awaiting a flight to Lubumbashi.

Today, we celebrate her safe arrival in Goma.

And now we look forward to the next available flight to Lubumbashi to continue Kindu’s journey to her new home and refuge.

Cophegs DRC a reçu à Kisangani deux bébé primates issus du braconnage en provenance d'OPIENGE pour le petit chimpanzé et D'ALIBUKU le petit Cercopithecus il y a quelques jours.

L'auteur bien identifié du crime à Opienge est en fuite, mais reste traqué par les agents l' ICCN et ses collaborateurs.

Mais celui d'ALIBUKU, un chasseur sans scrupules, ayant tué toute sa famille, a gardé celui-ci grièvement blessé et emputé de son bras.

Cophegs l'a recueilli et a pris soins de lui pendant quelques jours pour le rendre apte , ensemble avec le petit chimpanzé, pour le vol de Kisangani vers pour Goma et enfin vers Lubumbashi au JACK Primate Sanctuary pour une prise en charge appropriée.

A few days ago, Cophegs DRC received in Kisangani two baby primates, a chimpanzee from OPIENGE and a Cercopithecus from ALIBUKU, both the result of poaching.

The identified poacher of the Opienge crime is on the run, but is being tracked down by ICCN agents and collaborators.

But ALIBUKU's killer, an unscrupulous hunter who had killed his entire family, kept him badly wounded and cut off his arm.

Cophegs took him in and cared for him for a few days, making him fit, together with the little chimpanzee, for the flight from Kisangani to Goma and finally to Lubumbashi to the JACK Primate Sanctuary for proper care.
