Despite the rise of anti-women initiatives and the rollback of hard-won rights, Mwanamke Fund remains steadfast and determined in its fight for feminist climate justice, essential for the health of our planet and the well-being of our communities.
At COP30, Mwanamke Fund called for:
✔️ 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴
✔️ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻

🔥 Climate change disproportionately impacts women, girls, and gender-diverse people—especially those facing intersecting forms of discrimination. Yet, they remain excluded from decision-making spaces and climate finance.
🎙️ For Mwanamke Fund, this is not only a matter of justice, but also a strategic imperative for effective climate action.
The Fund calls for:
🌱 The adoption of an ambitious Gender Action Plan (GAP) at COP30
💰 Fulfillment of global financial commitments (USD 1.3 trillion annually until 2035)
🌐 Transparent, equitable, and accessible climate finance, prioritizing community-led solutions driven by women
