CAMME was founded with the vision that in the midst of war and disaster, there can be hope. Through our work, we provide this hope.

Even in the most impossible circumstances, children, given the right tools, can succeed. We advocate for children abandoned by or separated from their families, arrange visits where possible and appropriate, and serve as mediators where we can. We create training centers and opportunities for vulnerable children. We fight against sexual exploitation of minors, to prevent HIV/AIDS, sexually-transmi

tted infections, and teen pregnancy. We fight for their access to regular food, clean water, and medical care.We protect child victims of armed conflict and torture, and fight against any form of discrimination that can prevent a child from achieving his or her true potential. We provide moral and material assistance for the children in our care. We reorient children into formal education when appropriate, and children for whom this isn’t an option into viable vocational training programs.

Happy national teachers day. Appreciation to our teachers who in the middle of this crisis in Congo are giving their best to provide mental health in a form of creational activities as well as healing art more than the normal curriculum. Our teachers and everyone involved are the definition of resilience. Our school have seen it all the last couple months. Children have experienced trauma via experiencing war but also their neighbors, loved ones and parents/siblings getting killed in their presence. These teachers have tirelessly been there for each and every one of their students physically and mentally providing the very needed support in such difficult times. Thank you for your service.

Joyeuse fête des enseignants à notre corp enseignant qui malgré la situation difficile sont entrain d'encadrer nos enfants avec l'assistance morale et psychologique en forme des jeux et éducation qu'ils donnent en ce moment. Nos enfants on tout vu depuis janvier et certains d'entre eux ont perdus leurs enseignants, parents, élèves, voisins et membres de famille. Mais notre organisation ne les a pas lâcher avec les accompagnements physique et plus morale.
