What a pleasure to spend moments of sharing to the point that we have trouble separating??
What connection is there between us and the children?
Singing, dancing and animation is one of the best therapies to rebuild broken hearts and revive desperate dreams. This is one of our best ways to contribute to the education of our children in the east of the DRC.

Yes, it's back to school all over the world. What can we say about these children who lost their parents in the eastern DRC? Many children aspire to return to school, but under what conditions and with what means? To the east of the DRC, many children are in uncertainty about the start of the school year. Due to this recurring war, several schools have been destroyed, and many families are unable to prepare for this return to school.

Back to school in eastern DRC for the year 2026-2027 raises concerns due to several recurring armed conflicts that led to the displacement of many families. In the village of Katogota, located a few kilometers from the city of Uvira, temporary seat of the institutions of South Kivu, the hope of resuming school seems weak. Indeed, only 40% of children were able to return to school, with the same tools as in previous years.
While 60% of people no longer hope for anything, the war having destroyed everything, the parents cannot afford these needs.

In the territory of Uvira, east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, children continue to display lures, thus showing their hope of making the way to school. Although the conditions can sometimes be difficult, their determination is remarkable.

Despite the challenges associated with daily life, the school remains a lively space of life, energy and hope for the future of children in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The true strength of these children is manifested through their smiles and the optimism they continue to spread. Their attention to their future, accompanied by the conviction that education can change their existence, testifies to their resilience.

In this context, the resilience of these children deserves the attention and support of the international community as well as actors in the education sector.
