OUR STORY, OUR MISSION
DAT began as a group of doctors willing to try something new to reach young people and educate them about opioids. Making good choices starts with access to good information in a format that is accessible. Our hope is that young people, parents, schools, and friends will use the games on our website to start a conversation and learn about the risks associated with opioids. Opioids are an important part of a doctor’s toolkit for taking care of patients, but their safe use requires medical training and supervision. Outside of the medical setting they are dangerous and they can kill.
DAT is also about harm reduction and community education for a variety of other important health issues.
Our page is dedicated to our entire community of patients.
