Join us on Thursday, June 11 from 6:00–8:00 PM at the High River Library for a relaxed evening of crafting and community.

Bring your current craft project, snacks or dinner if you'd like, and settle in for a screening of Bend It Like Beckham as we get excited for the upcoming World Cup! We’ll also have some crafting supplies available for anyone who wants to join in.

1946 is a feature documentary that follows the story of tireless researchers who trace the origins of the anti-gay movement among Christians to a grave mistranslation of the Bible. It chronicles the discovery of never-before-seen archives at Yale University which unveil astonishing new revelations, and casts significant doubt on any biblical basis for LGBTQIA+ prejudice.

Join us in the HRUC Sanctuary on June 24th at 7:00 pm for HRUC Movie Night. In honour of PRIDE month, we will be screening the movie 1946: The Mistranslation that Shifted Culture.

🏳️‍🌈 The Pride flag will be raised at High River Town Hall on June 1 at 9:00 AM in celebration of Pride Month.

This is not a formal event, but a meaningful moment of visibility, inclusion, and community celebration. Anyone who would like to stop by and witness the flag raising is warmly welcome to do so.
