The ʔiiḥatisʔatḥ annual campout was a real success! Over 130 members and their families attended and participated in cultural activities, meal preparation, clean up, child minding, and sharing space on the land. 🏕️
We would like to extend our thanks to the camp coordinators, administrators processing travel, the cooks, maintenance staff, supplies and member transportation drivers, and the volunteers who helped the camp run smoothly each day! Thanks to members who submitted personal photos for sharing. Please feel free to continue sharing photos and family ties in the comments below.

For the past couple of days the Language Soundfile crew worked in Ehatis. Next session will be in Port Alberni Sept 14-15-16, 2026. If members in Port want to come and see what we are doing we welcome you to join the workshop on Sept 15, 2026. Place to be announced.
