Hey everyone. Just a reminder that the Empty Bowls Fundraiser is tomorrow Saturday March 22 from 11:30am - 1:30pm at the Knights Of Columbus at 10 Collins Street, Yarmouth. If anyone has any non-perishable food items that they want to donate feel free to bring them along. Please remember to give your name and ticket numbers to the volunteers at the door for entry to the event. It is going to be awesome see everyone tomorrow! 😀❤️

Etransfer $30 to [email protected] then once you have etransfered send an email to the same address and give us your full name first and last and your cell phone contact number (if you have no cell home phone will be fine). We will email you with the details and issue you your number which must correspond with the number at the door we have for you the day of the event for entry. If you are purchasing multiple tickets we will need the full name of every person you are buying for and their contact phone number as well. If you are paying by etransfer your entry number(s) will not be issued until we receive your etransfer.

This event WILL SELL OUT for sure it is first come first serve so do not wait!

Join us for our 2nd annual Empty Bowls fundraising event where pottery, cuisine, and compassion unite to make a difference in the lives of people in our community suffering from food insecurity. 100% of the proceeds will be going to the Yarmouth Food Bank. All donations will be eligible for a tax receipt. There will be live entertainment, raffle prizes and giveaways as well.
How does it work? The cost of the fundraiser is $30. You choose a beautiful handmade ceramic bowl donated by local potters and use it to sample a variety of delicious soups made by local restaurants and home chefs. You come in and all the pottery bowls are on tables and you get to pick your favourite bowl. You take your bowl up to the food service area and you get to choose between an array of delicious soups and you get a roll or bun made by local bakers as well as a dessert and a non alcoholic beverage. The best part is that you are helping fight food insecurity in your community…the second best part is that you get to KEEP THE BOWL you choose and take it home to enjoy forever! All this for only $30! Last year there was lots of extra soup so you will be able to sample as many as are available. Get your tickets now this is going to be an amazing opportunity to come and break bread with your community and do some good. 😀❤
