Post Secondary Student Bursary
�The Yarmouth-Shelburne County Federation of Agriculture is pleased to offer a post
secondary student bursary, in the amount of $500, to a local student interested in
furthering their education in the field of agriculture.
Eligibility Criteria:
⬧ Must be a resident of Yarmouth County or Shelburne County
⬧ Must be enrolled in a post secondary institute the following Fall in a program that
upon graduation will be applicable to the field of agriculture
Selection Criteria to be Based on:
⬧ Relevance of post secondary program in the field of agriculture
⬧ Current contribution and participation in the field of agriculture & local community
⬧ Priority will be given to applicants entering their first year of studies, but those
returning to post-secondary studies are encouraged to apply

Having current first aid training is an important safety practice for your farm, ag business and community.

The Yarmouth/Shelburne Federation of Agriculture will host Basic (Emergency) First Aid training on Saturday, January 4th beginning at 9:00 am at the Greenville Community Hall.

The cost per person is $96 for registered NSFA farms and their employees.
Farm owners in Yarmouth and Shelburne County receive another $30 off registration.
General public cost is $120
