Every year, our family and friends come together to honor the memory of Tylor, who we lost 9 years ago September of 2016. In replacement of spending money on his birthday and Christmas, we've collectively turned our grief into a positive force, donating items to local charities. We're proud to say that, thanks to the generosity of many friends and family members, we've donated over $14,870 worth of items in Tylor's name.
Rotating every year, a member of the family gets to choose the charity/organization to donate to. This year, for the 10th anniversary of fundraising, we're launching a family-wide, unified donation drive. Our goal is to make this year's effort the biggest one yet. We're raising funds to provide Christmas dinners and gifts for as many families in Woodstock and Cornwall. Any remaining funds will be used to support the SPCAs in both cities, a tribute to Tylor's special bond with his family dogs, Jake, Candy and Lucky.
We invite you to be a part of this special tribute. With your support, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and animals this Christmas. We'll be participating in gathering and delivering the items, and we'll keep everyone updated on our progress. Thank you for helping us honor Tylor's memory in such a profound way.
