Arthur
2 year old male corgi
Arthur is a fellow who recently came to me from a shelter because to be frank, he’s a typical backyard breeder type corgi with minimal training. He was surrendered to them for biting a child. No other details on that, but he’s been here with limited issues for a bit now.

I want to reiterate that Arthur has very little training and really isn’t a bad dude, but the fact he was an adult intact corgi male with limited training really is not in his favour.

He needs a herding breed experienced home no exceptions, and he must go to a training class.

Arthur is a very high energy individual. He can make a little strange with strange men. He is also not super fond of small children, but he takes correction well. I assume he was bothered by one. He needs to go to a home with NO CHILDREN.

Arthur is fine with other dogs, but not male dogs
since for some reason this fine specimen wasn’t neutered at an appropriate age before hormones really kicked in. Therefore, he has some hormone related behaviours that may or may not subside. If they don’t, they will require management and training. Arthur cannot go to a home with another male dog.

Arthur is a typical ranchy type backyard breeder corgi temperament wise, and he has some issues that have been created likely due to temperament and lack of training that will also require management. Arthur isn’t a velociraptor but he’s not a friendly cuddly kitten either.
Arthur is not a bad dog, but he needs to go to someone that understands the breed and is willing to put in some training and management to ensure his future success.

Arthur is in Langton, ON
Not cat tested
He’s now neutered and fully vetted

So to recap:
Arthur needs a home who is corgi savvy, no small children, no other male dogs, with a fenced yard.

Please stop buying corgis from people that are not reputable. Dogs like Arthur deserves better. If there wasn’t such a demand for this breed now, Arthur likely wouldn’t have been created in the first place. The breed deserves better.

Available for adoption:
Lily is a 2.5 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix (this is your friendly reminder that Pembrokes do not come in Merle)
She is a super sweet, outgoing, friendly girl who is house trained and crate trained, decently well behaved on leash.
She is not dog reactive to other dogs on leash, but has had some previous issues with another female corgi in the home, which is why she was surrendered. She does have some food aggression.
Lily was raised with small children but due to her food aggression, we are looking for a home with no kids or older kids for her to thrive in.

Located in Langton, ON
Preference to those with fenced yards
No dogs smaller than her, would consider male dog larger than her

Rescue dog Penny (who has been looking for a home since March / April) had to be taken for an urgent vet appointment because she’s been peeing blood. As many of you know, I typically fund all rescue expeditions myself but I’m thinking of running some kind of fundraiser for Penny as she may need some more vet work next week.

If any would like to donate towards Penny’s care, our email is

Django is ready to join a new home! He is a 7 ish year old male Pembroke Welsh Corgi who came from a commercial breeding operation, and has now been neutered and vetted and looking to join a family. He’s a little nervous at first, and wouldn’t be a good match with small children for that reason. He does like other dogs (female only please, as this is a breed that can have same s*x aggression and he was an intact male until this summer). Not cat tested. Django is a more active dude, and will likely need some work on house training but he’s mostly clean in his crate. His leash walking skills are coming along.

⭐️ Adopted ⭐️
Noel has had no inquiries in the couple months he’s been available for adoption so here I am reposting him.
Noel is 5-6 years old.
Noel came in tact, and with nominal vet records. He has since been vetted and neutered. He was purchased by a kind couple off Kijiji but he was described by the folks selling him as the perfect dog - and, he definitely is not. Noel did attempt to bite the folks who bought him but he’s been here for months without issue.

Noel is a good boy, but he’s a little quirky. He needs to know that the human is the alpha in the relationship, not him. Noel is good with other dogs, but since he was in tact for so long, he needs to live with female dogs only and no toy sized dogs. Noel needs to live in a household with proper management - preference to someone with German shepherd, border collie, or corgi experience.

Now the good things about him:
Noel can be very sweet, house trained, fairly good on leash. He’s also crate trained. He is very affectionate. He’s smart, and has good recall. Noel may know other tricks I don’t know about.

Rescue corgi Memphis is still somehow looking for his person - since May!
We thought we found his family but, it hasn’t worked out… which is wild considering he was 18 months in May, so now he’s getting close to 2.

He came from a not so great situation, but is doing well now. He would benefit from living with another corgi - ideally female, but males would be fine if they are known to be good with other male corgis already. Memphis is a bit of a nervous guy but he isn’t mean, he’s just nervous. He has also hung out with a collie and a mudi (both males, 40-60 lb dogs) successfully. Memphis is fully vetted, including his neuter, vaccines, heartworm check. He is crate trained, but will need continued work on house training and also leash walking - with more direct attention on those things, they should come along quick. He’s easy and pleasant to deal with.

You must have a fenced yard because he’s a bit of a flight risk if you lost him. No exceptions.

Fully vetted - microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, up to date on flea / tick / deworming

Corgi or herding breed experience preferred.

Memphis - 18 month old male. Has a unique body stripe and a partial blue eye. Would be fine to live with older kids, and don’t foresee an issue with cats. Memphis is a more nervous dude and needs to go to a home with another dog, for that reason. Must have a fenced yard.

Needs work on house training and leash walking. Crate training has gone well, and been leashed walked here and there. Not exposed to cats. Not super exposed to children. Corgi or herding breed experience preferred.

Rocco - 3 year old male. Friendly, easy to get along with. Good with other dogs.

Update - 9/2/25
Adopted ⭐️
“Blackie” is 3 years old, and is a friendly dude who is outgoing towards everyone he meets. He seems to enjoy the company and attention of older kids (5 plus), but he will jump up on you for attention so dog savvy children without a fear of dogs are an asset (not that Blackie is a large dog).

Blackie is indifferent to other dogs he has been introduced to (female only), so would be fine with another dog who is female for certain. However, Blackie has only been recently neutered and male corgis can have same s*x aggression - so he has not yet been introduced to another male dog. Blackie has no exposure to cats.

While super happy-go-lucky and enthusiastic with people, Blackie did not come from a great situation and therefore needs training which includes work on house training. Crate trained and walking decently on a leash now.

Blackie is neutered, vaccinated - fully vetted. Fenced yard preferred

Noel is a 5-6 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi male who was recently neutered and has a bit of an alpha personality. He has been fine with other female dogs, but has not been tested with male dogs due to the fact that as a whole the breed can have same s*x aggression and he was only recently neutered (around a month ago). I would expect he would not get along with most other male dogs at this stage.

Noel was surrendered because he was adopted by a nice couple off a Kijiji ad and was giving them a run for their money. By this I mean he was attempting to nip them. Noel absolutely needs to go to someone with breed experience and no children (kids 16 plus) OR someone with border collie / GSD experience as he’s going to require management so he doesn’t try to assert that he is the alpha. We have had no issues with him after a few days of corrections but, he needs to continue being crated at night and to eat - and corrected promptly for any poor behaviours.

Noel is house trained and crate trained, walks well on a leash. Noel is now fully vetted - neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested.

Adoption application link for Noel will be added in the coming days

Update - 9/2/25 - Adopted ⭐️
Tofu is a 6 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi cross, likely with Cardigan to produce the merle colouration.

Tofu is a great dog who was surrendered because she was unable to get along with a smaller dog.

Tofu is a super sweet girl who likes car rides, leisurely leash walks (not at power walking speed), and spending time with her person or people. She does take a little bit to really warm up and open up to new people / strangers, but we would not consider her to be shy. Tofu is both house and crate trained.

Tofu has some prey drive, and does not seem love other dogs. She tolerates the other corgis she has been introduced to, but is fairly indifferent being friends with them - therefore, a home with no other dogs or another male dog of similar sized that is willing to put in work to properly introduce and manage them is preferred. Tofu will also tolerate young children and toddlers, but wants to chase and herd them if they become rowdy as children and toddlers do - so a new home without any small children / toddlers who reside there or visit often is also needed.

Tofu is now spayed and fully vetted - ready to meet her new forever family or person!
