We’re so proud of the 13 MICE students who recently presented their final business plans!

Over the past year, these Grade 10–12 students have transformed ideas into business concepts while exploring the exciting world of entrepreneurship.

The MICE (Met Innovation Centre for Entrepreneurship) program, a partnership between North Forge™️ and The MET Schools Winnipeg, gives students the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills, embrace innovation, and gain hands-on experience before graduating high school.

Congratulations to all of this year’s students for their creativity, hard work, and dedication. We can’t wait to see where your entrepreneurial journeys take you next! 🚀

We were thrilled to host the 2026 Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference study tour, welcoming 16 high-potential leaders from coast to coast to debate issues around leadership and what Leading Canada’s Sustainable Prosperity looks like right here in Winnipeg. The future is bright.

Today we celebrated a meaningful step forward for Manitoba’s innovation ecosystem.

North Forge™️ and officially signed an MOU to strengthen support for women-led technology startups and businesses through the WeTech Loans program. This partnership helps create more accessible pathways to funding, business support, and growth opportunities for founders ready to scale.

By working together, we’re helping close critical gaps for women entrepreneurs while continuing to build a stronger, more inclusive tech community here in Manitoba.

You will lead content creation, manage social channels, execute campaigns, and bring our brand to life across platforms. This includes capturing content, running paid ads, and managing our website.

We are looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing or social media, strong photo and video skills, experience with paid ads, website management, and excellent attention to detail.

May is kicking off with creativity at the FabLab 🛠️

For this month’s , we’re opening our doors and inviting you to make something of your own. Stop by and design a custom tote bag using heat transfer vinyl. Choose from letters and shapes, press your design, and take home a piece that’s uniquely yours.

While you’re here, take a mini tour of the space, explore the tools, and see what’s possible when ideas meet the right equipment. Totes are available while supplies last, so coming early is your best bet.
