TEEC team in Canada, your support is always a big help. The donation of a tap to the TEEC Centre in Bor has provided a solution to the critical and complex water challenges we face at the Centre.
The taps are installed and we now have access to safe, clean drinking water at the Centre.

TEEC Daycare is finally here: it offers structural learning, social skill development and in a secure environment, it enhances cognitive and language ability, it provides high-quality care and social emotional growth thus prepare kids for school.

We would like to take a moment to thank the Jasmine Foundation for providing us with a grant to construct the road.

The road now connects our Centre to the main road making transportation of resources, supplies and movement easier while also enhancing local security.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC) Community Solidarity Fund, in which we were beneficiaries. Through the awarded grant, we were able to provide new benches that have significantly improved the learning environment for our students. This has tremendously improved classroom comfort, boosted participation, and strengthened students’ sense of dignity. It made a meaningful difference in how students engaged and continues to support the momentum of our educational efforts.

A SEWING JOURNEY!!!

Students who recently finished the sewing course have expressed their feelings and gratitude to TEEC for helping them become self-reliant through the provision of a free sewing course.

Key stages in a sewing Journey they have learned, but not limited to the following Stages only.

1. Getting Started: They became familiar with the sewing Machine, threading, filling the bobbins and sewing a straight line.
2. Essentials Skills: they have learned how to read patterns, understand grainlines, cut on the correct grain, take measurements and use essential tools like shears and pins.
3. fundamental techniques: they have mastered backstitching, sewing corners(pivoting), zipper insertion, and seam finishes,
4. They were taught fabric types, seam allowance, proper ironing techniques and machine maintenance and repair.

Celebrating International Development Week 2026 under the powerful theme “Prosperity Through Partnership.”

It was an honour for the Excel Empowerment Centre to contribute to advancing basic human development.

As TEEC, the highlight of our day came from the inspiring words of Honourable Randeep Sarai: “Doing the right thing in the right place with the right purpose.”

A reminder that meaningful change begins with intention, collaboration, and heart.
