We’re thrilled to hit the local barn in Ste Rose for 2027, rip an entire The Tragically Hip set for GEDfest 🎸 Canada’s ultimate The Tragically Hip tribute event GEDfest YWG on October 17 and then close off our month with our Echo of the Engines album release party the Times Change(d) with Club Wagon Creek on the 23rd.

Our tribute bands are a huge part of what makes GEDfest so special. 🎶⁠

Part of the significance that The Tragically Hip imparted was the number of tribute acts that their music spawned.⁠
⁠
They bring the songs of The Tragically Hip back to the stage with the energy, talent, and respect they deserve, giving us a chance to experience that music together all over again.⁠

For us, Gord Downie represents so much more than the music. His legacy, his storytelling, and the impact he had on Canadians are at the heart of why GEDfest began. Honouring that legacy while raising meaningful funds for cancer organizations is something we care deeply about.⁠
