Functional Fitness with Erwin

Functional fitness focuses on balance, core strength, endurance, and multi-joint flexibility. This class is designed to support activities of daily living and is ideal for older adults or those with mobility concerns, while still being suitable for all fitness levels.

Each class includes:
• 5-minute warm up to get your muscles moving
• 15 minutes of cardio
• 25 minutes of functional strength training
• Balance and stability exercises (some classes focus specifically on balance)
• 10–15 minutes of stretching and balance work targeting the muscles used during strength training
• A relaxing cool down with music and movement

The skate shack and canteen are open 12–3 PM, so lace up your skates and come enjoy some time on the ice!

❄️ Note: The Zamboni has been having a few issues, so the ice conditions aren’t perfect - but it’s still skatable and ready for some fun.

Come warm up with a snack and enjoy the afternoon!

Now Hiring: Janitor (Part-Time)

🕒 Schedule:
Weekday afternoons/evenings
Approx. 20 hours per week

🧹 Position Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our community.

✅ Duties Include:
• Cleaning and disinfecting floors, restrooms, kitchens, elevators, and common areas
• Vacuuming mats and dusting surfaces
• Emptying trash and recycling
• Cleaning windows and glass doors
• Ordering cleaning supplies as needed
• Seasonal duties including salting sidewalks and light snow shoveling
• General grounds maintenance

💪 Qualifications:
• Janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
