Hello, fellow Toastmasters!
Thanks for another great meeting today. Having done the Facebook and Wordpress stuff for a while, I've concluded that each platform has strengths: Facebook is better for frequent updates, while the Wordpress blog is better suited to a newsletter where we can have longer pieces on significant events. For example, we could do a piece on our upcoming open house, or Richard's completion of the first manual as of today (congratulations!). Twice-monthly or monthly are good intervals for that. I also want to all members to know that they are welcome to write something for the blog. You can even post it without attaching your name to it, but still use the platform to share relevant information. It's simple enough to do: either send me what you want to post, or I can change your user permissions so you can do it on your own. Hope everyone has a great week!
Sean
P.S. Excellent job taking roles and RSVPing! We're in the groove now and it's great. If want a reminder on managing your profile and basic functions, follow the link below to the 12-minute orientation video.
