We needed a small extension arm on the Emeraude's parking brake lever. It's a hydraulic system so it moves very easily, but it needs to protrude through a kick panel that protects the primer lines and engine controls. Of course we'll have a hand carved walnut control k**b.

Two de Havilland aircraft that were record breakers in their day. The Dragon Rapide made an Atlantic crossing between mainland Canada and the UK. The Comet was a later aircraft designed to race and held a record between London and Brisbane and back.

In nature, red means "look out." In 1996, it meant "look up!" This air-to-air photo captures a unique moment in EAA history as two of A.E. Hagg’s most famous designs shared the sky.

From racing speed to refined luxury, the DH.88 Comet and DH.90 Dragonfly showcase Hagg’s ability to turn wooden construction into pure performance art.

This is the Osprey GP-4, a high-performance, all-wood design by George Pereira. This was the fourth aircraft in his series, but the first that focused specifically on speed and cross-country performance.

His hard work paid off as it earned Grand Champion honors at EAA Oshkosh 1984.

Sonex Aviation announced Friday that ON Capital Inc. has acquired the assets of Sonex LLC, including the Sonex Aerospace and AeroConversions product lines, and has reopened the Oshkosh, Wisconsin-based kit aircraft manufacturer. https://vist.ly/42p28
