Event Description:
🌱 What happens when a child’s brain doesn’t get language in time?
Imagine a garden that never got water when it needed it most.
That’s what language deprivation looks like — and it’s entirely preventable.
This video explains language deprivation in a simple, powerful way and why early access to ASL is not optional — it’s essential for healthy brain development, emotional regulation, and lifelong learning.
This isn’t about deafness.
It’s about language access and human rights.
📍 If you care about Deaf children in Manitoba — whether you’re Deaf, a parent, a professional, or an ally — this conversation matters.
