Last night, we gathered under the glow of green lights at The Forks, and it meant so much to connect with our community.

For our very first Light the Night gathering, we were so moved to have our community show up: in green and purple, in solidarity, and with open hearts. Walking together to Esplanade Riel gave us the chance to slow down, connect, and truly be with one another.

🤍 Canadian Fertility Awareness Week 🤍

These are the kinds of conversations that matter, now more than ever.

Fertility journeys can be emotional, complex, and often come with a financial weight that many don’t expect. So many individuals and couples are navigating this quietly, facing costs that can make accessing treatment feel out of reach.

At The Gift of Love & Hope Inc., our goal is to help ease that burden by providing financial support to those in Manitoba pursuing fertility treatments. Thanks to our community, we’ve been able to support families and help create opportunities that may not have otherwise been possible.

But the need continues to grow. With every application we receive, we’re reminded of how many people are still waiting for their chance.

By continuing to have these conversations and share this reality, we can raise awareness, reduce stigma, and build a community that shows up with compassion and support 🤍

During Canadian Fertility Awareness Week (April 19–24), landmarks across Canada will be lit in green—the official colour representing fertility awareness. This initiative shines a light on the realities of infertility and the journeys so many individuals and families experience.

We warmly invite our community, family and friends—especially those who have been impacted by infertility, are currently navigating it, or supporting loved ones—to join us.

We are incredibly honoured to have been chosen by the Winnipeg Coed Volleyball League () as the beneficiary of this weekends tournament 🏐

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 50/50 raffle and the generous support from WCVL, we received $525 from the raffle + $1,000 from the WCVL — $1,525 total to support families through GOLAH 🤍

This event was about so much more than a game; it was a community coming together to support families, and we feel so lucky to have been part of it.
