We got to hang out with Moose and his amazing foster mom today at the Manitoba Pet Expo.

He is the most sweet and gentle guy. He is ultra loyal, ultra handsome, ultra sweet, tall, kind. He greets each dog easygoingly, he looks ay his people affectionately, he leans into kids for pets so tenderly.
He also plays like a happy madman when he’s with pals, but he’s the kind of guy you can take anywhere and he’ll behave like a gentleman.

He looks really good in red.

Moose would love a home with another playful dog or several. He wants to be taken under a doggo wing. If you adopt him and give him time to connect, he will look into your soul and never leave your side.

Moose was born around October 15 so he’s almost 8 months old.
We are told he’s Lab x Great Pyrenees.

He’s good in a kennel, housetrained, neutered, and all vaccines are up to date.

So he’s pretty much ready to get his forever life started. You should adopt him for sure.

The new kid: SNICKERS🤎🖤🤍

About six months old and 18 pounds, Snickers, like his namesake, is equal parts nutty and sweet. He likes to be busy going for walks or playing with pals, but will stop on a dime for a long cuddle or to sit down beside you and lean his head on your shoulder. He’s a player and a lover. You will often finding him going in for a hug.

He listens, learns, and takes social cues really well. He’s food motivated. He loves to play with the big dogs, is a wonderful walker, and can run like the wind. He would also win the high jump competition in his foster home.

He would love a dog sibling or two. He’s a bit of a follower, loves a pack. He’s energetic and playful. He wants to be in the thick of things. Dogs love him.

Snickers’ governing values are community (wants to be part of the gang) and pleasure (food, play, and love.)

He’s good in a kennel, is most of the way housetrained (does not have accidents if you let him outside often), and is ready to get his forever party started.

He will be neutered in about a month, is a healthy, happy little fellow.

He’ll remain quite small. The vets guess he’s maybe beagle/shepherd and maybe a little jack! He’s a unique and irreplaceable little guy. Is he YOUR unique and irreplaceable little guy?

FOSTER FOUND
Now we need a foster.

Snickers is just a little guy (around 14 pounds at 5 months!) but has big, cool character and personality. He’s part beagle, part who knows.

He’s fast, he jumps high, can scale an ExPen easily, loves to play, loves to hang out, and loves attention.

He’ll need a high fence, he’d love a dog foster sibling to keep learning great social skills, and then he’d also like some love, please🥰
His vet appointments will be in south st vital, and it would be great if his foster could take him.

Thanks to your generosity & support, we raised $700 in just 3 hours at our Flash Yard Sale last Saturday, May 9. Incredible! A big hug and hi five to all who donated and shopped.

Another huge thank you to all who bought and picked up their exclusive, limited edition Mother's Day gift bags which also helped raise almost $800.

It was a successful weekend for Earthdog Terrier Rescue of Manitoba. We truly couldn't do what we do for the dogs without you all!
