Earthdog Terrier Rescue of Manitoba Not-for-profit group dedicated to helping Manitoba dogs in need.

Earthdog Terrier Rescue of Manitoba was started in 2012 to provide a safe haven for terriers in need. Since then we have grown faster than we could have ever imagined and to-date have taken in over 600 dogs, including many “non terriers”. We have also branched out to offer our assistance to remote communities providing support and education about responsible pet ownership. We have set up spay and neuter clinics to reduce overpopulation, vaccination clinics (offering dogs the opportunity to see a vet, many for the very first time), distribute collars and tags to dog owners to identify owned dogs and provide pet food to the communities to ensure no animals go to bed hungry. We have thousands of dollars in vet bills to pay so one of our lovely supporters/bakers is baking up a storm for the holidays so you don't have to.

Trays will be ready in time for the holidays and will include an abundance of amazing treats for your gatherings.
Each tray contains 65 delicious pieces.

We can arrange pick up or delivery within city limits.
OUR GOAL IS TO SELL 50 of these trays.

FOSTERS NEEDED ‼️‼️‼️

Parvo puppies are now eating, pooping, playing, yelling and becoming stronger. The next few weeks will be for fattening up and fighting off the last of this virus and being so loved. We are looking for reliable, committed fosters to take care of these sweet little pups while they heal up and look for their forever homes.
They will be fostered in pairs or triplets and are ready to go!!
*please note, Parvo sheds for long after the dog is healing. Unvaccinated puppies will be at risk so any foster should not have unvaccinated pups in their home or yard for six months. Vaccinated pets are good though!

MOMMA IS READY TO GO INTO FOSTER, yay!

Momma is looking for a foster (or forever!) home where she can continue to learn the good life.
She has gone through it, but is ready to have fun, and enjoy life.
Momma is great in a kennel, is starting to play, is getting the hang of housetraining.

She is recovering (like a champ) from Parvo. She finishes quarantine on Saturday, but can still shed the virus for months, so she should go to a home where there won't be any unvaccinated pups in the near future.

Momma is about 35 pounds and a very sweet girl. She is terrier-ish, and can typically be found wagging her tail, being a sweetheart, and feeling thankful for everyone's support.

FINALLY
After countless hours of care by generous fosters and the team at river park vet, we can say the puppies are on the mend.

They are almost ready to go in pairs to fosters. They are recovering from
Parvo so should be only in a home that has vaccinated adult dogs and no intention of unvaccinated puppies for months.

RUBY UPDATE:
Well, a foster-angel opened her heart and home to Ruby and at the last second, Ruby has a place to rest. She can now be found lounging with relaxing music on, and her ears blowing in the country air for the next while while she awaits her forever family.

Our vet bills are ginormous for Parvo babies and Momma.
A very good way to help (and benefit) is our Boulevard meat fundraiser
LAST CALL is Monday October 19th at noon.
We will do the order Monday afternoon, so you have until noon on Monday to order.

TO ORDER:
DM what you would like to get.
We will send you your total so you can etransfer. Orders come in in about two weeks and we are happy to do local delivery or pick up at your leisure.

URGENT FOSTER needed for Ruby.
We don't want this golden girl to go to boarding and she has no place to go.

Ruby has moved around a little while looking for her new family, and all she wants is a place to lay her medium-old little head and some people to hang out with. She's the best.
And she's desperate.

Ruby's ideal home would be a calm space with adults who want a companion to do a small walk or lounge around with. She is an expert cuddler. We adore this dog.

Ruby is an eight year old angel of a dog who just needs a home where she can have a daily easy walk or two and a spot to curl up near you and be a couch potato.

Ruby is a very smart girl, and is a young eight.
She's very healthy and very sweet.

Rubes is apprehensive of new people, particularly men, but comes around quickly and is soon very loving. She definitely wants a quiet home without kids (she likes them, but they stress her out.). She will bark when people come to the door but is quickly ok. She can be nervous, but she is good with people once she has a little space. Treats are her love language.

She is soooo good on leash.
She does like to have space away from other dogs she sees while walking, but as long as she has space, she doesn't mind them.
She has gotten along ok with chill, happy go lucky dogs, but she'd be best living alone so she can enjoy her long golden years with fun and peace.
She has lived with cats harmoniously.

Please help Ruby.
