Our Grades 4–8 students enjoyed a wonderful field trip to The Leaf at Assiniboine Park! 🌱🌺 Exploring the gardens brought learning to life, sparking curiosity about plants, biodiversity, and the natural world.

A lovely day of discovery, friendship, and appreciation for Allah’s beautiful creation! 💚

🌈 Kindergarten Fun: Little Hands, Big Discoveries! 🐛🧱🌱👩‍🏫

Our Kindergarten learners explored numbers, nature, and imaginative play through exciting hands-on activities!

🐛 Caterpillar Fingerprint Counting: Children created colourful caterpillars with finger paint, counting each fingerprint while practising number recognition and one-to-one correspondence.

🧱 Roll, Count & Build: Rolling a bottle, counting its logos, and building towers with the matching number of blocks made counting playful!

🌱 Watch Me Sprout! Our little scientists explored the wonder of sprouting and plant growth.

👩‍🏫 Little Teachers in Action! Our learners stepped into the teacher’s role, building confidence through imaginative play.

So much learning, laughter, and discovery in Kindergarten! 💛

🌳✨ Tree-tastic Twinkle Stars: Learning the Parts of a Tree! ✨🌳

Our little KG Twinkle Stars ⭐ had a tree-mendous time exploring and learning about the different parts of a tree! 🌱🍃

Through this fun and creative project, our young learners worked together, shared ideas, and brought their learning to life with lots of enthusiasm and imagination. 💚

We are so proud of our little Twinkle Stars! ⭐ Your creativity, teamwork, and hard work made this project truly shine. Well done, everyone! 🌳✨

🔢🎨 Learning, Creating & Exploring in Grade 1!

Our Grade 1 students had a wonderful time combining learning with creativity!

🔢 In Math, they learned about tally marks and reinforced their understanding by creating fun Q-tip tally mark posters.

🎨 In Art, our little artists explored texture art, discovering how different materials and techniques can create unique textures and patterns.

Hands-on activities make learning meaningful, engaging, and so much fun! 🌟

🕌 Jumu’ah Mubarakh from Avicenna Academy!

Alhamdulillah, we were blessed to come together for another beautiful Jumu’ah Salah today. 🤲

A heartfelt JazakAllahu Khairan to the Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA) for their continued support, and a special thank you to Brother Abdulrahman for delivering today’s meaningful Khutbah and leading us in Salah.

May Allah (SWT) reward everyone involved, accept our prayers, and continue to strengthen the bond of faith and community within our school. Ameen. 🤍

🧡 Every Child Matters 🧡

Today, our students came together to recognize Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Through meaningful conversations and the simple act of tying orange ribbons, our students reflected on the importance of remembering the children who were taken from their families and communities through the residential school system, honouring Survivors, and recognizing that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and loved.

Each ribbon tied is a small symbol of remembrance, respect, kindness, and our commitment to learning from the past and building a more compassionate future together.
