What a fantastic week of connecting, learning, and sharing with fellow Economic Developers and friends at the 2026 annual conference in Russell, Manitoba!

We’re returning home inspired, energized, and excited to put new ideas into action. Stay tuned over the coming days as we share conference highlights, key takeaways, and memorable moments from the event.

Did you snap a great photo during the conference? We’d love to see it! Send your favourite photos our way and help us showcase this wonderful experience.

EDAM Forum Challenge (just for fun):

✅ Introduce yourself to someone new
✅ Ask someone “What are you working on right now?”
✅ Share one takeaway in a post
✅ Take one photo that shows your community pride

Tag us if you do it — we love seeing the wins. 🙌

How to get real value from a conference (easy version):

- Pick 3 things you want to learn
- Meet 3 new people (even quick hellos count)
- Write down 3 ideas you can use within 2 weeks

That’s it. Simple, realistic, effective. ✅

Networking made easy.....Before the Forum, try this simple intro:

- Where you’re from
- What you work on
- One challenge you’re tackling this year

Bonus: Ask someone else the same three questions.
See you June 10–12! 👋

Quick question: What’s ONE thing you want to leave the EDAM Forum with?

A new contact? A project idea? A solution to a problem that’s been bugging you for months?

Drop it in the comments — you might find your “conference buddy” before you even arrive. 👇

Friendly reminder: hotels fill up fast when there’s a big event in town.

If you’re coming to the EDAM Forum (June 10–12), it’s a good time to book your room now so you can focus on the fun stuff later.

***** Please call (204) 773-7529 to book your room! *****

(And yes — being well-rested counts as “professional development.” 😄)
