Recovery & Beyond Winnipeg Recovery & Beyond is not-for-profit entity that facilitates a non-professional recovery support group We respect all people and all paths to recovery.

Who we are

Recovery & Beyond is a non-professional recovery support group intended for anyone who is seeking freedom from addiction. Regardless of your history or what brought you here, we welcome you. We welcome those from AA and other 12 step groups to help investigate additional paths to free us from drugs and alcohol. Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba; we are not a rehab, but an open forum recovery group. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming area for anyone to investigate thoughts, concepts and approaches to recovery. Through mutual sharing and group effort, we wish to find the path that works best for us to free us from our addiction. We believe we hold the power to become the best we can be, but acknowledge we may need help to get there. Sobriety is our ultimate priority and the only requirement to attend our meetings is a desire to free our selves from addiction. We also acknowledge that a life outside of addiction and recovery can be achieved. Each individuals path to get there will be different and we are here to help discover that path.

Its Zoom night!

The topic for tonight's Recovery & Beyond Zoom meeting is Perspective, Positive Mindset & Challenging the Inner Critic.

The way we see ourselves and the way we interpret what happens around us can have a big impact on how we move through recovery. Sometimes the biggest challenge is not what is happening around us, but the voice inside our own head telling us that we are not good enough, that we have failed, or that we cannot change.

Tonight we will be exploring perspective, developing a more positive mindset, and learning to recognize and challenge the inner critic without ignoring the difficult or uncomfortable parts of our experience.

This is a supportive space where you are welcome to share your experiences, the thoughts you struggle with, what has helped you shift your perspective, or simply listen and connect with others who understand.

Feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, or reflections related to recovery and mindset. Speaking is optional, so if you're just curious, come take a peek!

Join us tonight at 360 Cockburn St North, 7pm for our community led recovery group.

Tonight’s topic: What Keeps You Sober Today?

"Recovery can change as we grow. The things that kept us sober in early recovery may not be the same things that keep us grounded today. Along the way, we discover more about ourselves, what works for us, and what helps us continue moving forward."

Tonight we'll be discussing what keeps us sober today, how those things have changed throughout our recovery, and what we do when the things that normally keep us grounded aren't working.

We'll also explore what we once thought we needed for recovery that we may have since realized we don't, and what we've discovered about ourselves that makes staying sober easier.

Feel free to discuss the topic presented, or come chat with us about whatever has been on your mind lately. Speaking is optional so if you're just curious, come take a peek!

Join us tonight at 360 Cockburn St North, 7pm for our community led recovery group.

Tonight’s topic: What Does Success in Recovery Look Like?

Success in recovery looks different for everyone. For some, it's another day sober. For others, it's rebuilding relationships, finding peace, asking for help, setting healthy boundaries, or simply getting through a difficult day without giving up. Recovery isn't about perfection or comparing ourselves to others. It's about making progress toward a healthier, more meaningful life.

Tonight we'll be discussing what success in recovery means to each of us, how our definition of success can change over time, and why celebrating progress, no matter how small, is an important part of the journey.

Feel free to discuss the topic presented, or come chat with us about whatever has been on your mind lately. Speaking is optional so if you're just curious, come take a peek!
