-A Message from The Board of Peg City Kindness Crew-
This is not the easiest post to write, but it comes from the heart. After a lot of reflection, and discussion, We’ve decided it’s time to retire Peg City Kindness Crew as a not-for-profit.
When we started this little crew, it wasn’t about building something big... it was about spreading kindness and love, creating connection, and showing that even the smallest actions can brighten someone’s world. What grew out of that was so much more than we could have ever imagined.
We’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people, witnessing genuine acts of love and compassion, and watching strangers become community. People we didn't know, have become family to each of us.
To everyone who gave their time, their energy, or even just their kind words, thank you. You made this journey what it was. You reminded our team, and so many others, that kindness is powerful, healing, and deeply needed in the world. Though Peg City Kindness Crew is coming to an end, the spirit of what we have built will never retire. ❤️
Kindness doesn’t belong to one group, it lives in each of us, and we hope you’ll continue to carry it forward in your own unique ways.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank all of you for walking beside us in this chapter. It’s been beautiful, and so full of love. ❤️🙏
With love and gratitude,
Stay Kind Peg City,
Christine, Deanna, Fiona, Jai, Jennelle
The Board of PCKC ❤️
A quick note from Jai:
Thank you to the amazing board members that have kept this thing afloat as long as we have, and when you've had nothing left to give, gave it all anyways.
Thanks especially to Deanna, who heard what I said, and helped truly give this legs. It would not have even started if you weren't there D. Thank you. Thanks for listening to my rants in my office, and thanks for sitting with me through my tears. You're an amazing Co-Founder, and an even better friend.
Jennelle you carried this thing when Deanna and I didn't know how to continue and breathed a new life into it that we couldn't see. Christine, you've been consistent and beyond kind since day one. Fiona, you are the most welcoming and warm human I've ever met.
Thank you to each of you, you brought something so unique to PCKC. 💕
