Today's the last day of Rural Medicine Week! 🩺
It's been a week of first-year med students getting a real look at rural practice. The hope is that some of them end up choosing to practice in rural Manitoba after graduation. Thank you to all the physicians, clinics, and communities who opened their doors this week and give our future health care providers a look at what rural medicine is all about. ❤️
From May 25–29, we’re proud to host first year medical students from across our region for an immersive look at rural medical practice. This week offers invaluable firsthand experience with both the rewards and the unique challenges of providing care in rural communities.

Du 25 au 29 mai, nous sommes fiers d’accueillir des étudiants en première année de médecine de toute notre région pour leur offrir un aperçu immersif de la pratique médicale en milieu rural. Cette semaine leur permettra d’acquérir une expérience de terrain inestimable, en découvrant à la fois les satisfactions et les défis particuliers liés à la prestation de soins dans les communautés rurales.
