🌿 1952: Laying the Groundwork for Conservation

Early in 1952, a meeting was held to elect officers for the year and an advisory board was created to guide conservation efforts. Specialized boards were set up for Flood Control, Forestry, Land Use & Farm Ponds and Public Relations, helping to shape the future of local watershed protection.

The seasonal bridge across the Belgrave Creek is now installed at Wawanosh Valley C.A. (Wawanosh Nature Centre side, 38854 Nature Centre Rd., North Huron). Footing may be uneven along this stretch of the trail due to high water earlier this spring. Please use caution.
