Billie Eilish reacts to the news of her brother Finneas and other artists dropping out of Ed Sheeran tour.

“Very proud of my brother Finneas and other artists that took this step. We must not be silenced and we must speak up for the oppressed”

*Sign a Letter to PM Carney and Your MP*. Israel is advancing legislation that would legalize executions—applied to Palestinians, not Israeli prisoners—under the pretext of “terrorism.” In response, Canadian civil society organizations are demanding what should already be unequivocal: public condemnation of the death penalty and an end to Canada’s willful blindness to systematic abuse documented by the UN, medical professionals, and human rights organizations. Children are detained and beaten. Women are humiliated, abused, and torn from their families. Detainees die as a result of deliberate medical neglect. Yet Ottawa continues to hedge, deflect, and hide behind empty words. There is no neutrality in the face of state violence. There is no moral cover in silence. Send this letter to your MP and the Prime Minister: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/joint-statement-by-civil-society-organizations-on-israels-proposed-death-penalty-bill?source=direct_link Demand public condemnation. Demand accountability.
