Core City Hoops Core City Basketball is a year-round nonprofit dedicated to empowering downtown youth through basketball.

We are based in Windsor (Ontario, Canada) and have been around since 1988; thanks to Pete Cusumano and his friend, Arvin White. They decided to create a basketball club which would give kids from downtown Windsor an affordable opportunity to play basketball. We are a club which relies very heavily on fundraising and grants, as we charge our kids a nominal fee to be a part of Core City. We are incl

usive, and understand the difficulties in life. Therefore we strive to reach out and give everyone the opportunity to participate in organized basketball. Don't let the above statement fool you though, our coaches develop players and attempt to get the best out of each and every player.
