Happy International Women’s Day 💜

Rising T.E.A. is proudly woman-founded, built on the belief that women deserve safety, empowerment, and support.

A special thank you to the township for providing the space that helped make this event possible. Thank you as well to for their wonderful volunteers, and to every guest who attended and helped make this dream a reality.

We are also incredibly grateful for the generous donations that will support our upcoming food bank visits and community outreach efforts.

Happy International Women’s Day! 💜

In celebration of the women in our community, we are hosting a free salon day for women and girls! (Under 18 are limited to heatless styles and must have guardian present).

Services include:

Hair styles such as curling, straightening, crimping, braids, simple updos, and special requests upon availability.

Makeup looks such as natural, glam, and special requests upon availability.

Appetizers and beverages are available throughout the event.

Feel free to come dressed in whatever you feel most confident in! There will be a photo station for free photo ops!

While this is a free event, donations are always appreciated! We fulfill donations to food banks, shelters, youth centres, schools, etc.

Rising T.E.A (To Eradicate Abuse) is a local nonprofit organization focused on awareness, education and prevention of abuse. Our women’s community group “The Copper Willow”, has orchestrated this event to provide a luxurious salon experience for women and girls, without the financial costs associated. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful, simply because they are. 💜

Please message us to book an appointment! Include which services you would like, any inspo pictures, and feel free to ask any questions!

*Please note this is a volunteer-run event. We are not offering professional services.*

Red flags are warnings, not whispers.
The moment we learn to name them — control, manipulation, isolation, disrespect — we reclaim our power.
Awareness protects us, and walking away is strength, not failure.

Green flags remind us what healthy love looks like: respect, consistency, honesty, and safety.
When we recognize them, we stop settling and start choosing people who pour into our peace.
Healthy love isn’t a luxury; it’s a standard.
