To conquer loose-leash walking, we need to take it one step at a time, and the very first one is the equipment you use.

Maren Bruun of Paw In Hand shares these three essentials to enjoying a loose-leash walk with your dog.

1️⃣Well-fitted harness: that is comfortable for the dog to wear.
2️⃣Long leash: Remember that it is important that you can safely and effectively handle it.
3️⃣Treat pouch with lots of treats: because there are plenty of things that compete for your attention!

We talk all about loose-leash walking at https://animalkind.ca/all-about-leash-walking/

Salt has found her furrever home!
Salt is available again, through no fault of her own.
This shy sweet girl will need time and patience to help her blossom into the best Furrever Friend you could have.
Salt lives to be petted but she is just starting to learn leash walks are not terrible.
