The Kiwanis Club of Welland, Represented by member Stephen Hanns was proud to attend Welland Volunteer Night at the Welland International Flatwater Centre, joining community members in celebrating the incredible volunteers who make such a positive difference throughout the year.

As a club serving the communities of Welland, Port Colborne, and Pelham, we were honoured to recognize the dedication and generosity of volunteers from across the city.

It was wonderful to connect with fellow community organizations, including the Welland Lions Club and the YMCA of Niagara, all of whom play an important role in strengthening our communities.

Thank you to every volunteer who gives their time, energy, and heart to help others. Your efforts truly make Welland and the surrounding communities better places to live, work, and grow.

So proud to support Faith Welland Outreach with their Summer Feeding program and providing nutritious meals outside of the regular school year.
Such amazing work that you do in our community 👏

A heartfelt thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Welland for their generous support of our summer feeding program.

Many children depend on school meal programs during the year, and when classes end, that support isn’t available. We’re happy to step in over the summer to help bridge that gap, ensuring kids in our community still have access to healthy, nourishing meals.

We’re incredibly grateful for partners like Kiwanis who make this work possible. 💛

The Kiwanis Club of Welland was pleased to welcome Christina and Rachel from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara to this week’s meeting for an engaging and informative presentation.

We had the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work their organization is doing across the Niagara region—providing meaningful mentorship opportunities that help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and reach their full potential.

Thank you, Christina and Rachel, for sharing your time and insights with us. The impact you’re making in our community is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to support organizations that are shaping brighter futures for local youth.
