Alongside her solo exhibition Duck Duck Goose, Quinn Smith-Windsor is offering the opportunity to commission one of her distinctive dog portraits. Using her signature fluid acrylic technique, Quinn captures more than just a likeness — bold colour, intricate patterns, expressive eyes, and plenty of personality make each portrait a truly one-of-a-kind tribute to a beloved companion.

Known for her distinctive fluid acrylic paintings, Quinn transforms the natural patterns and movement of poured paint into expressive animal portraits full of texture and character. Featuring brand-new works created for the exhibition, Duck Duck Goose celebrates some familiar faces from the animal world — from birds and bears to the wonderfully individual personalities that make Quinn's work instantly recognizable.

This was a fun summer project! The Back Door Art Gallery is now up in Prince Albert.

Update!

In my 4 years of university I’ve been kicked off of SAID 3 times.

My message?

Keep showing up where you’re unexpected.

Quinn Smith-Windsor is a disabled artist, entrepreneur, and advocate living in Elk Ridge Saskatchewan in Treaty 6 Territory who attends university. She understands the difficulties many people with disabilities face when they apply for university programs and grants under the Ministry of Social Services SAID program.

Quinn advocates for better coordination across all levels of government and fewer conflicting rules which cause many individuals to lose out on benefits.

I had a great time skiing at the 2026 CADS Festival in Kimberley, B.C. With sitskiers from across Canada last month.

I was pleased to paint and donate a painting for the silent auction to support CADS. This little bear portrait is called Stemwinder after one of the best ski runs at Kimberley Alpine Resort.

This year, cadsnational is celebrating its 50th year of sharing the joy and freedom of adaptive snow sports. Happy Anniversary CADS!

I had a great time on the mountain and am grateful to all the volunteers.
