OVER $1,070,000 NET RAISED! – 17TH ANNUAL COMPLETE CHAMPIONS RECEPTION, presented by CI ASSANTE WEALTH MANAGEMENT

THANK YOU for supporting the Complete Champions Reception on November 21, presented by CI Assante Wealth Management. Your presence, generosity, and belief in the mission of Spartan Athletics helped create an afternoon filled with impact and gratitude!

With the incredible support of more than 420 donors, including a generous group contributing to a matching fund of $442,000, we have already surpassed last year’s total and raised over $1,070,000 net! These funds directly strengthen our ability to support student-athletes through need-based scholarships, assistant coaching, chaplaincy, leadership development, and the services that shape Complete Champions.

This year, we will be treated to an inspirational Leadership talk with Ryan Walter, a 17-season NHL veteran player, coach, and a Stanley Cup Champion; author; and recipient of the TEC Canada 2024 Speaker of the Year Award!

Our keynote speakers will be TWU Spartan alumni Kendell and Bev Kauffeldt. Together, they will share their story, how TWU and Spartan Athletics have impacted their lives, and share some stories from their time spent around the world with Samaritan’s Purse.

Thanks to your incredibly generous support of Spartan Athletics, the Spartan Foundation 16th Annual Complete Champions Reception, presented by Five Peaks Capital, raised a record $1 million to support Spartan student-athletes!

“This year’s Complete Champions Reception was a special day,” said Jeff Gamache, TWU Director of Athletics. “To have alums Holly (Strom) VanBerkel and Lucas VanBerkel and current rugby player Matthew Willemse all share about their experiences at TWU and see how God has used them during their journeys was inspiring. Then, to look around the room and see so many alumni and friends in the room who in their own way impact lives day in and day – it is so humbling. On top of it all, to raise this record amount, where every penny will go into investing into our current student-athletes, is an incredible gift that we, within Spartan Athletics, are so thankful for. We do not take your gifts of time, talent and treasure lightly. We are so grateful and will continue to develop more and more Complete Champions ready to make an impact for the good of the world and the glory of God.”

We did it! Over $1 Million raised for Spartan student-athletes!!
