“News Update: IEEE YP Victoria Networking Event at UVic”

We had a fantastic turnout at the IEEE Young Professionals (YP) Victoria Networking Event, held on December 3 at the University of Victoria, with approximately 80 attendees, including YP members, students, faculty, and over 15 industry professionals from the local engineering and technology community.

The event provided an engaging and relaxed environment for young professionals to connect with industry guests, exchange career insights, and explore opportunities across multiple engineering fields. Attendees also had the chance to browse the undergraduate poster showcase hosted by the IEEE Victoria Section.

A big thank you to all participants, speakers, and industry professionals for making this event a success—and to the IEEE Victoria Section for their support.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next YP Victoria event!

We are pleased to invite IEEE YP Victoria members and recent graduates to a dedicated networking session on December 3, featuring 15+ industry professionals from engineering and technology sectors.

This session provides a relaxed environment for IEEE YP Victoria members to connect with industry professionals, discuss career paths, and strengthen professional relationships.

A student poster showcase will also be part of the broader event, which YP attendees may explore after the networking session.
