We were so grateful to be part of the Light the World Giving Machine Victoria campaign at Tillicum Centre this holiday season. Thanks to you, 510 total donations were made to support Cool Aid — with a majority going toward our hot meal program.

Curious about the impact the Giving Machines made on their first year in Victoria, BC?

On Nov 15 2025, Tillicum Centre hosted the Light the World Giving Machines. What are the Giving Machines? They are a vending machine with a twist. You can purchase an item or service for one of the participating charities through these unique machines. 100% of your donation goes to the charity; administration costs are covered.

Last year's local charities were Soap For Hope Canada, James Bay New Horizons Victoria Cool Aid Society Saanich Neighbourhood Place Shelbourne Community Kitchen Society
